Peter Boynton has had a long performing career since heading to NYC after earning a degree in Music Theory and Composition from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst. Peter has worked for over thirty years as a singer, dancer, actor and director in dozens of musicals, both in New York and in regional theaters around the country.

Here in Vermont, he has worked with Lost Nation Theater, Phantom Theater Co., the VT Conservatory of Ballet, and VT Stage Company. As the owner of The Skinner Barn in Waitsfield, VT, Peter produces a full season of theater camps, Broadway Cabaret evenings and August theatrical productions each summer in the beautiful, historic dairy barn that he has lovingly renovated. He has helped shape the performing arts program at Harwood Union High School in Duxbury, VT where he produced and directed their fall play and spring musical for the past thirteen years. In addition to teaching the dance curriculum at Harwood Union School, Peter was also a faculty member at Burlington College from 2004 to 2009 where he taught an acting and directing class for their film program. He is married to the lovely Regina Darmoni who shares his love of beautiful singing.
